New Feature: Pattern Detection for Cheating Tools in Reports

Stay ahead of AI-powered cheating with our latest update.

AI cheating tools are evolving fast - and so are we. We're excited to introduce a new feature in Quilgo's proctoring toolkit: Pattern Detection for Cheating Applications. This update enhances how we analyze test behaviour and provides you with deeper insight into the integrity of every online exam.

What's new?

When a test is submitted, our platform now evaluates behavioural signals using advanced pattern recognition techniques.

These include:

  • Detection of overlays and browser extensions used to deliver live answers
  • Patterns consistent with off-screen assistance tools
  • Indicators of non-human interaction pacing

If unusual patterns are detected, your report will now include a flag:
Potential use of cheating applications detected

This helps admins and instructors:

  • Focus on high-risk attempts
  • Back up decisions with data-driven insights
  • Stay ahead of new threats - without manual review.

How it works

Quilgo continuously monitors the landscape of cheating tools. Our engineering team reverse-engineers newly released student-side apps, and we integrate detection algorithms based on real behaviour - not just browser metadata. This feature is now live on all proctored tests using screen monitoring.

Why this matters

You're not just assessing knowledge; you're upholding trust. As AI-based cheating becomes increasingly sophisticated, traditional test platforms struggle to keep up. Quilgo is different: we don't just block known threats; we analyze their behaviour to identify and mitigate potential threats.
